Looks like a prop from an original Star Trek episode. Kirk would have been seduced by the alien babe of the week on it.

Why, this looks cozy! Not suitable for tall people though, unless you don't mind your feet hanging out. I wouldn't mind one, but it would have to be swinging from the ceiling...
